VH Teaching Pastor…

David Lucas– David loves Christ, loves his people and serves as Pastor of Valley Harvest. He moved to Chowchilla as a teenager where he met his wife, Wendy, whom he married in 1995. Together they are raising their household of seven. David started out pursuing a career in architecture, a path he followed for over a decade. During these years he always sensed that God was shaping him for greater ministry. In 2003, he surrendered his life to pursue a vocation in pastoral ministry. Since that time he has attended Gateway Seminary, earning a Diploma in Theology. David has a passion for seeing God’s Word change the lives of others, and he has a love for Chowchilla, where he has pastored since 2006. Contact David at david@valley-harvest.org

Leadership Structure

Our Take On Leadership…

Valley Harvest holds to a biblical view of shared leadership for the governing and oversight of our church (Titus 1:5, Philippians 1:1). Therefore, we have a plurality of leadership made up of Biblically qualified men (1 Timothy 3:1-7) that are leading and shepherding Valley Harvest.
